I’ve been to the Tetons. We are not hikers. Is GNP comparable to the Tetons?

Somewhat Different IMO but just as awesome if not better. Lots of sights you can see without serious hiking. and a lot of popular trails that are easy with very little elevation climb and you’ll still see lots of wildlife.

GNP has a lot more mountain scenery. A lot that doesn’t require alot of hiking and some really incredible places if you do hike. It has two very nice older Lodges in the park. It is less commercialized than Jackson Hole.

What lodges are you referring to?

The drives in GNP are more spectacular than the Tetons if you aren't into hiking.

ETA, Of course you now need advance reservations to drive the whole Going to the Sun Road in GNP.

If you have reservations at Many Glacier Hotel how does that work with driving the Going to Sun? Is the Red Bus recommended in your opinion?

There are some pretty easy hikes in GNP- Trail of the Cedars and Hidden Lake Overlook to name two- and they are very scenic. GNP is worth visiting just for the Going to the Sun Road alone.

I fortunately went to GNP before these restrictions so don’t know for sure, but typically hotel reservations in these parks will come with access that would otherwise require separate reservations. I suspect that is the case here.

As much as we enjoyed the Tetons, Glacier blew it out of the water, IMO. As far as hiking, there's a wide variety. My son was 8 at the time and we hiked every day, but had to skip some that I'll definitely be going back for eventually.

Plenty to see but even avalanche lake and hidden lake overlook require some walking (few miles roundtrip) so just depends on what you mean by “not hikers”.

You reserve a pass to get in the park. Don’t think it comes with hotels. Or just enter the park before 6am and no pass in needed. Depending on when you are there parking lots fill up fast.
