Weather Delay tells you all you need to know about who Jay is starting

Jay doesn’t want to risk ending Anderson/Eyansons day early with rain. This is reminiscent of 2023 regionals/super.

Everyone with a brain cell knew it would either be Anderson or Eyanson. So no this doesn't tell us anything

I doubt Jay has any influence on this weather delay

So the weather delay made his decision on who to start? That means he would have made a different decision if not for the delay.

My sauce actually said the NCAA gifted Yeskie special permission to pitch today. Hopefully he’s still got it because if not we might be screwed.

I wouldn't read that much into it. I don't think he would want to risk ending any of our pitchers day early with a weather delay. Whether that be Noot, Shores or one of the two aces.
That said, it was always going to be Anderson or Eyanson depending on what he saw analytically

No, he’s starting one of his aces and doesn’t want weather to burn them.

It really doesn’t matter who he starts between the two. They’re the same. Dominant.

Coaches have a say but NCAA makes final decision

Woodford makes the call.

Really dumb to start one of the 2 unless there’s absolutely no way there will be anymore rain tonight

What?

Maybe Jay is going to do like he did for the SEC tournament and start Anderson and close it out with Eyanson. I think the rant would implode.

So you’re saying if Noot or Shores were starting there wouldn’t be a rain delay?

Cauble said on Hunt's show that he was told the NCAA reps there are looking for at least an hour and a half playing window to start the game

We really have some stupid fans.

The host site coach determines the start time from a weather delay under NCAA rules. Once it starts the umps take control

Whiskey makes the call? I can get behind this, it makes a lot of decisions for me too
