These pardons seem a bit odd. He isn't on the way out of the door next month. Even his most loyal supporters seem to be scratching their heads about it.

Hypothesis - he knows these things are stupid and indefensible even by MAGA loyalists but it's part of his flood the zone strategy to overwhelm people with controversial news. And this time it seems to be in an attempt to misdirect his own most loyal followers.

Everything he does is well thought out and planned. I know this to be factual. He has some of the smartest people on earth working for him.

Yet MAGA loyalists are discussing it here...

Which pardon specifically are you referring to?

They just don’t understand 17D chess. It’s not their fault.

There are 3 recently that no one seems to agree with

Reality TV clowns
NBA Youngboy
Chicago murderer and drug dealer

And it's MAGA that is criticizing him for it

I actually think in this case there might be a method to the madness

It's so retarded that misdirection seems to be the only plausible scenario that could be explained

It seems the Trump admin does absurd things to shine a light on past misdeeds. The media takes the bait and tries to condemn/belittle the Admin's actions - which then brings to light the corruption of past administrations. Not hard to see where this pardon thing is going.

Gotta be a troll. Are you still trolling him for accidentally dismissing Nuclear maintenance and Bird Flu people and having to recall them?

No you don’t.

Flooding the zone with actually victory would be the better strategy not these meaningless pardons as the most ardent say they are.

Very plausible hypothesis. These pardons really do nothing for or against the American people and/or big business but they sure to distract us from the issues where trillions are at stake.

The issues where trillions are at state are:

Foreign policy.
Borders.
Trade.
Big Beautiful Bill.

If the media is talking about these "controversial" pardons they are not talking about real things that matter. In the grand scheme of things, these pardons mean nothing.

I don't know enough about each and every case, but Trump says this is part of the Biden DOJ railroading people.

Which they most certainly did. Now did they in these cases? I really dont know.

I don't like the soviet style of punishment we hand out though. Plead guilty and we will give you probation, say you are innocent, and we will give you 10 years in prison.

Happens all the time in the private sector when there are mass layoffs. Were you not aware of that?

I think it's plausible

I suppose the other plausible thing might be that he's testing the waters to see how much stupid shite he can do and still not be criticized by the loyalists

There is something to it I would think

This seems about as likely a scenario as any
