I’d rather a Democrat get elected than another “conservative”

Who’s going to stab you in the back the first chance he gets. I’d rather cease voting altogether than allow another piece of shite Mike Johnson or Lindsey Graham get in office.
At least with a Democrat, he’s going to tell you up front “hey I’m going to completely frick you up” they campaign on it.
These “principled conservatives” are like snakes slithering around on their bellies. They remind me of Wormtongue.

Those people you cited are not conservative much less "principled conservatives".
You need to learn what conservative means.

Ah so you prefer “I’m gonna fundamentally change the country” as long as it’s said out loud.
You’ll know the Marxism is coming, at least.

Their campaign slogans all have some form of that phrase involved.
It’s how they get elected.

No, I don’t want that either. I’d rather these people who claim to be conservatives start legislating like conservatives.

Anyone who says they are a conservative is a fraud and a total loser
I have said this for years now

You may be on to something with this. Because they sure don’t act that way.

Dear OP: Those aren't conservatives.

So they are fooling you or you don't know what the term means.
The House Freedom Caucus plus Massie are conservative.
There are probably less then 10 conservatives in the Senate.

So what you’d rather the party that hasn’t allowed its members to vote on its presidential nominee since 08. The party that got a brain dead idiot elected so interns and his wife could run the country?? That party

Continuing to vote for these politicians is the problem. They will either keep winning and never change, or if they lose, they still have the support needed to keep trying. The GOP needs to see that if they are going to be competitive with Republican voters, they need to put forward better candidates.

You need to realize that the conservative movement has been taken over and is being run by the people you claim are not conservative.
Is that wool on your eyes itchy?

I’d rather a person who believes “the greatest threat to western civilization is straight white Christian males in a nuclear family” writing and enforcing laws vs. a conservative who does nothing.
Thats not at all retarded.

No, the problem is 99% of decent people don't want to get within a thousand miles of DC, so usually there is no one to vote for.

The "conservative movement" is not being run by Lindsay Graham and Mike Johnson. It is Paul, Massie and now Milei.
How can you be so naive to let clowns like Graham and Johnson fool you.

The GOP can be just as ruthless as the Democrats when it is in their interest to do so.
One big reason why good people don't run for office is because the swamp runs DC and tries to destroy good candidates. And yet voters continually re-elect the very swamp monsters that control the party.
But hey, at least they aren't as bad as Democrats
