I was shocked at how most people weren't pissed off about the tyrannical behavior of their Government Overlords.

That's fear mongering. There was no gun grab in New Orleans. Some police asked for guns, and a few stupid people gave them their guns, but there wasn't any actual taking without consent. That's so ridiculously overplayed.

No. Do you have anything to add? Did you look at the link? Can you tell me how many people had their guns forcibly taken from them?
I evacuated, but I know many people who stayed - all of whom were armed - none of whom had their guns 'grabbed'.

In Oklahoma, if they'd have done anything like that to sovereign citizens on their own property, the citizens would have been 100% justified in returning fire. Governors, for the most part, pick and choose carefully where and when to go draconian, based on the political map and how subdued/weak their citizens have been made to be.
