While the hitting has been frustrating, don’t overlook LSU’s pitching

I’ll take pitching over hitting any day. Despite terrible hitting, pitching kept LSU in both of the last two games and won the first. Top to bottom, I feel like LSU current pitching is ahead of the 2023 team at this point in the season. I do wish Cowan had a chance to pitch in the tournament. We need him back to his old self for a post season run.

There’s such a thing as losing 1-0

But I guess “that’s just baseball”

Do you need a blankie and a time out? You seem awful angry and pessimistic.

The walks from the bullpen have come down and definitely more options are in play
Stats definitely show better all across board at home from a hitting standpoint

Mayers throwing strikes is massive. If he can give you an inning walk free, then he’s gonna give you an inning run free. He looked unhittable yesterday

No one has said otherwise. If you believe we’ll just not score a run for the rest of the season than obviously we won’t go far. Most fans believe we’ll score our fair share of runs. We average over 8 a game lol.

The dumbass is overlooking the fact that these baws have hit, and can hit.

I have faith that our approach in the NCAA tourney will be different than it was in the SEC tourney.

Like winning 2-0 on a 2-run HR in the bottom 11th?

Pitching keeps things close and then you either run into one or the other team does.

of course you need to score, but i would be much more concerned if the pitching was as bad as the offense has been at times.

i still think this team hits better at home.
