Prayer for my daughter

I’ve never posted anything like this on any message board or social media. I’m not well-known here but I feel like I know you guys. For those of you who pray I’d appreciate your prayers. You can’t have enough of them.

My 29-year old daughter - one of four kids - was diagnosed with cancer this past week. She had been experiencing pain in her hip. She’s always been healthy, goes to the gym, hikes and stays fit. She’s never smoked and rarely drinks.

She thought it was an injury, maybe a stress fracture. The tests revealed a tumor in her hip bone, which led to other scans. They found lesions in her lungs and liver. She has a biopsy scheduled on June 2 and an appointment with an oncologist on June 9.

She lives in Seattle with her husband, whom she met while living in LA. They haven’t even celebrated their 1-year anniversary. Needless to say, I’m shocked and devastated. It looks bad. She’s a very strong believer and has loved Jesus her whole life. Everyone who knows her adores her. Not an enemy in the world.

I’m trying hard to stay positive and believe for the best but I’m scared. The fact she’s so far away is difficult. We likely have a long road ahead.
