Saw this video on YouTube earlier. It looks at some of the deepest blue states like California and Illinois. A lot of the things that the left champions like affordable housing and equal access to education are more inequitable in these deep blue states than anywhere else. It seems like much of it is due to Nimby types at the local level. Any attempt to build higher density housing in low density housing areas is voted against by the locals so they can hoard all the real estate wealth. The affluent left is no different than the affluent right in this regard. The affluent right at least doesn't have the audacity to be hypocritical about it.

not in Atlanta - condos and apartments are literally being built in neighborhood greenspaces without any improvement to infrastructure and the cops are a joke.

It is simple - give someone who has not integrity or moral basis a lot of money and he will devote himself to getting more at the expense of anyone with the expertise to challenge him
conclusion - promote more masses of indigent ignorant useless pieces of shite and make it a national 'necessity' to tax the middle class into on indigence in the pursuit of feeding them.
Nothing happens to the rich $$$bags in the short term and they don't give a shite above their progeny, if they have any. Short term bragging rights. Happy right up until that moment before death when the full weight of their sin will weight they down for all eternity.

I think equitable housing will be the least of our worries when the Dems regain control.
Was it just me, or did anyone else notice an accelerated advancement of the loony Left's agenda after Trump’s first four years? It was like they had to make up for lost time.
I expect the same thing to happen when they regain control. In the name of hate speech and safety, the 1st and 2nd amendments will be under fire. Under the name of tolerance, Christian values will be scorned and vilified. The Left will redouble their commitment to DEI and illegal immigration. Voting requirements will be further loosened and lawfare will be deployed to make Red States comply.
