I’m just getting back on here and looking through threads.

WE WON THE GAME
AND
GOT BOTH OF OUR TOP GUYS WORK.

We removed all doubt about a National Seed.

We’ll get other guys starting experience in a “big game” setting tomorrow and possibly Sunday. If you’re going to win the whole thing you will probably need 4 different guys to start games. We did in 2023 anyway.

It’s very possible tomorrow’s starter only throws an inning or two and has to get removed after a rain delay. Was that the better spot for Eyanson?

Or if we lose today and Eyanson doesn’t get any mound time when the plan was to get him work is that better?

We eliminated Aggie.

What’s the problem?

Worked out well, this time next week SEC Tourney won't be remembered. Omaha all that matters.

The problem is there are only a handful of people on this board who know what the hell they’re talking about when it comes to college baseball. The rest are passionate, but uninformed fans or trolls.

I can take passionate but uninformed. That’s cool. But the trolls can GFTS.

Agree! Nothing to complain about! Would love to see the bats wake up tomorrow though.

Best thing of doing BPB is missing the overly dramatic melts from posters that barely posted all season

Yup.
And I’m not saying this is the case but take everything else out and let’s just say the coaching staff felt behind closed doors they needed one more win to secure a National Seed. In a one game scenario wouldn’t you start Anderson then come in with the next best guy?

I thought he managed it perfectly and people want his head for it.

We had it set up to pitch Anderson and Eyanson to get to the SEC tourney final. Now that's gone. I understand Jay knew he needed to win this game to remove all doubt. With the way Cowan has been pitching, especially against A&M giving up the 3 run series winning home run, I guess I dont blame him. It still would've been nice to let Anderson and either Evans or Cowan try to get through this one, and do the same tomorrow with Eyanson. Jay does get paid highly for these decisions.

The offense

We are facing a lot of very good pitching in the SEC. It’s amazing how good this conference is.

Our national championship team was held to 2, 5 and 2 runs by Wake Forest. In the first two games against Florida, in the championship, they scored 4 runs in each. When you face good pitching you win with good pitching and defense. LSU has faced a lot of good pitching.
