Seems like a safe bet for another one and done by yours truly. The quarter pole has come and gone and the team flounders around .500. Kirby is apparently making his season debut, but has generally handled the Astros very well.

For those keeping score (me), we haven't won a single one of our last 7 road series

Seattle (1-2)
STL (1-2)
KC (1-2)
White Sox (1-2)
Brewers (1-2)
Rangers (2-2)
Tampa Bay (1-2)

The hell you say?!

My son and wife are at this very moment in our living room arguing over a fricking calculus question.

He's not even in calculus -- he'll be a 10th grader next year taking Algebra II, but for some reason they need to debate calculus.

I'm staying the frick away.

@Chandler_Rome

The Astros signed corner outfielder Greg Jones to a minor-league deal. Got into three big-league games with the White Sox this season and is a former first-round pick of the Rays. Jones is a switch hitter.

Greg will save us

So it’s for sure that Yordan broke his hand right? Been like 3 whole weeks now.

The shite this organization spews is crazy to me. Do we have just have a shite medical team? This is like 3 GMs and 4 coaches later

No. It's simply a fatigued hamate bone.

Astros RHP Ronel Blanco is going on the IL with elbow inflammation. He’s seeking a second opinion. No corresponding move yet.

I mean I’m writing the year off. Our rotation is now

Framber
HB
LMJ
Gusto
Gordon
Spaghetti when he returns

Our medical/training staff needs to be held accountable. No other team in the league is having TJ at the rate we are

They are clearly capitalizing on the This is going to make you throw harder, but you'll need a new elbow sooner on the 'eventually scale'

The human body was not designed to throw a ball 95-100 mph. Sure, some guys do it, and fewer still do it with surprising, good results. But NONE of them escape without injury. So, with Astros pitchers, eventually happens faster. Just like our 1B end-of-career walls.
