Has anyone lived in Utah for any length of time? Pros? Cons? Considering a move there.

No. Everyone that has moved there has moved out before it became any length of time.

Beautiful, homogenous white paradise, you can soak Mormon chicks all day long, cost of living going up, gotta finish your first beer completely before ordering another one

25 years. We're full of Cal folk now. You'll hate it. Don't walk away, run.

Serious response is this. Every place has it's plusses and minuses. 95% of our population lives in a 120 mile stretch of the state. Our housing prices are out of control. Our house has doubled in value in the past 3 years. Our infrastructure is holding up ok, but starting to be strained. Our once quite places have been over run with people now. It's not the same state I moved to 25 years ago. The Mormon thing is only a problem if you want it to be. It doesn't influence my lifestyle at all. Of course, I don't drink, smoke, etc.

Lots of Mormons and Californias are doing their best to move in and ruin the state. Still a great place to live as of today, but concerning future. Salt Lake could turn into Seattle lite

Like most things on this site, you have ZERO idea of what you're talking about.

Oh, so that's what the smell was.

Visiting a place, for a week, downtown, isn't like living here for years.

My original point stands.

You don’t think a bunch of big corporate tech taxpayers moving and employing thousands of people from California will have any effect on the state?
