For some of us, it was obvious from day one. For others, not so much. There's still folks on this board who believe this isn't over and he'll suffer consequences for this.

He pulled this stunt to benefit financially. He's a savvy guy and when he did that shite, he was playing to two audiences.
First and foremost, he was playing to MAGA and the administration. He wanted press for a book that otherwise would've ended up on the clearance table, and MAGA coughed it up big time. Not only that, Comey hit a press homerun when he actually had the President of the United States talking about it in a FOX interview. He, his agent and his publisher fist pumped over that shite.
His sales audience are liberals, not MAGA or Conservatives, but because of MAGA and the President himself, a book that should've been forgotten, now might turn into a best seller. The book aside though, Comey's gonna make a fortune now in speaking engagements. He's grateful for MAGA's indignant, sky screaming contribution. He couldn't have done it without them.
