I have a picture of the Stanley Cup in my swimming pool from when the Stars won it last time. Darien Hatcher is a man of his word. All I'm gonna say about it.

Years ago I was in Chicago and saw Darria. Hatcher walking into a men's clothing store so I followed him in. I acted like I was looking at suits.....$1500 suits and this was year 2000 or so. I was in shorts and a T with 5 day stubble and I finally got close enough to him.....and he is a big dude, way bigger than me but.....I said hey, your Darrian Hatcher aren't you and he immediately took 2 steps back probably thinking I was some derranged Black Hawks fan. When I told him I was from Dallas he relaxed a bit and talked to me for a minute and I shook his hand and left. :csb:

He is still probably my favorite Stars player but Bichsel kind of reminds me of Hatcher, a big physical defensive presence that the Stars have lacked the last several years.
