That is absolutely retarded. There is zero reason she should be making over $100k for a sport that costs LSU $4,000,000 a year in net losses.

I'm of the firm believer that since college athletics is turning into a business with NIL, that the sports be should seen as individual companies. The only ones that stick around are the ones turning profit. That would leave solely football, men's basketball, and baseball. And would eliminate 30 of 33 sports. I'm all for it.

Use the saved money for NIL Football to get better players, and a lot should go to back to LSU and build a new library. It's the perfect outcome. Most fans care 90% about football, 6% baseball, 3% basketball, 1% all the rest. This clearly shows in the net income of each sport.
