I will watch my son play football in Tiger Stadium tomorrow

It’s flag football and he’s only 10, but still, odds are this is the only time I’ll ever watch my own flesh and blood take the field in Tiger Stadium so I’m pumped. He’s so excited and can’t stop talking about it. All the games we’ve brought him to and after tomorrow, he can say he’s played a game on that field. What a cool experience he’s in for, and mom and dad too.
I know, CSB,

That's awesome for him. It will be something he remembers forever. I'm glad he seems to understand what he's walking into before he does it.

I am bringing 16 boys to scrimmage out there too. we are going to play defense like the NBA all start game. Want them all to score.

He could always join the band. Or go streaking.
In all seriousness though, that’s awesome for yall. Enjoy the hell out of it

I was 10 years old in 1980. I played in the dome at halftime during a Tulane football game. My memory, I recovered a fumble. He'll remember this for the rest of his life! Enjoy dad!

that rules, when I was that age I couldnt imagine getting to do that....we got to do the super dome which was very cool, but I would have rather played in TS. Always was a way bigger Tiger fan than saints fan

Make sure he knows that he’s got to lay at least one shoulder into someone and knock them to the dirt. Just so he can say he did it on that field.
In all seriousness, have a great day with your son. Memory of a lifetime for him at that age.

Mine is 6, and has no clue what a treat it is, but I still think it’s cool they get to play there.

That’s awesome. I remember playing on old Alex Box field for Skip Bertman summer baseball camp when I was ~10 years old back in mid 80’s. I’ll never forget that.

Enjoy the moments!! Cherish every second because you wake up 20 years later and that young boy hopefully has his own family.
