A press release stopped short of calling the road show a "farewell tour," but Jackson named it the Last Call: One More for the Road Tour, and the announcement stated that each gig would mark "the last time he’ll ever perform his more-than-30 years of hits in that city and surrounding areas."

The country icon revealed in 2021 that he had been living with a degenerative nerve condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, which causes nerve damage, primarily in the arms and legs.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease can cause muscle contractions and a loss of sensation, and make walking difficult.

A legend almost as big as George Strait himself. I’m glad that I’ve seen him a few times in concert. Tonight will be a bitter-sweet night in Milwaukee.

How many “final tours” have The Rolling Stones had?

Does AJ have health issues or something? I’ve seen several clips of him lately. Is he sick?

I attended KISS's Farewell Tour in 2000.

Always felt his music was milquetoast. Just a bunch of very simple songs with zero depth. Mercury? Little Bitty? His entire catalog is meh.

When Hank Jr does a "final tour" he always says, "final tour for this year."

Midnight in Montgomery is awesome.

He’s got some good ones. Drive for daddy Gene is great, for example.

He does have some pandering type songs though. I wasn’t a huge fan of 90s country back then, but I’ve come to appreciate it more now that I’m older. And AJ was at the forefront of that genre back then.

Hell of a career, literally, went from operating a fork lift at Kmart to playing the Opry.

“Wanted” is one of the best country songs ever written.

‘Neon Rainbow’ was on point for the late 80’s when breaking in.
‘Don’t Rock the Jukebox’ is an absolute classic
‘Gone Country’ was absolutely perfect for the 90’s and on point.
‘Drive’ is awesome.
‘Chattahoochee’ will live in infamy and will be played every summer nonstop for eternity from the tubers that float by on the hooch.
‘Remember When’ I skip bc time does go way too fast.
‘Midnight in Montgomery’ is a masterpiece in my opinion when you listen to it.
Jackson is a gem and a legend in that class of 88-89 of Garth, Alan, Clint, Randy, etc. All he ever wanted to do was pay homage to the country music and artists that came before him.
Great Newnan, GA human being who has given a ton back to the community and to Country Music.
Was never a show boat. Just stands at the mic and sings the legendary songs.
I truly wish him the best

Wonder if Jason Aldean (who sucks) will be remembered similarly if he just makes it this long.

He’s one of the all time greats for sure

But I went to one of his shows back in 2022 in Dallas and it was pretty terrible. I don’t think his health was too great at the time so I guess he gets a pass

So glad I got to see Alan and George live. Alan in MGCC in early 90’s. Saw George in Rupp Arena on his Cowboy Rides Away tour in 2013 (Martina was the opener).

Everything must go! Huge sale! Major discounts!

Cant wait for him to unretire next year like every other person who does this scam.

George straits farewell tour was in 2012. Hes still doing 2 shows a month.

Remember Kiss farewell tour in 2000? Go catch their show in 8 days, only $25

went to Ted Nugent’s “final” show last year, went to the meet and greet prior to the show, he made it clear he wasn’t retiring from performing, just no more long and grinding tours
