Can come in to play a team with 5 conference wins and a guarantee of a Super Regional at home if you just take care of business and shite the bed right out of the gate. 
Heads up asses baseball. I see now why some of us weren’t completely happy with only 2/3 against Arkansas- because of shite like this.

Agreed. But doing this when it’s time to start wrapping up a post season position? I’m not saying the sky is falling but the time to start cutting down on boneheaded actions is growing nigh.

There is no decent excuse for lsu to lose tonight.
Can’t hit against a team with shitty pitching.
Poor 3rd base coaching. Extremely poor sliding fundamentals.
Mistakes in the outfield.
Our “closer” gives up a 2 run lead and lose on a walk off wild pitch.

But in this game of baseball you speak of, would you agree that playing like LSU played tonight is a bit of a concern when they’re a couple of weeks away from entering a tournament where if they do that two times they go home until next February, unlike the Dodgers in your scenario who have till September to keep playing.

no. they have two proper aces and have been playing well. they are gonna torch the clowns that come to the regional and the super. they might lose in Omaha because like I said, the best teams don't always win.
