Meh...I'm not sure how or why you bench Brown after last weekend, but I'm not the coach.

because they throwing a lefty and Brown can't come close to hitting lefties

No Brown is kinda weird esp after the weekend he had..but, like already said, I'm no college baseball coach. In Jay I trust. Lfg Tigahs

My initial reaction was to agree with you, but I can’t make myself feel comfortable benching Frey, Pearson, or Brown

We are fortunate to have the guys we have

Not saying I agree, but the reason is he doesn’t hit lefties well

In his at bats against lefties last weekend the only time he came close to making contact was when he laid down a bunt.

Let's see the splits. I'd take Brown vs. a lefty any day. Brown is getting an RBI every 3 at bats in SEC play. Pearson is knocking in 1 run per 11 at bats.

In SEC play, Josh Pearson has 1 base hit with runners in scoring position... it was a bunt single 2 weeks ago. His last SEC RBI before that was against Oklahoma. Just to recap, in the last 5 SEC series, the only run Josh Peason batted across the plate was a bunt. Jake Brown has 13 RBIs in the same time frame.

I'd like to see the exact splits avg. Where did you get these #'s from? Not seeing it on Lsusports, D1, or NCAA stats pages.

I saw them prior to one of the games last weekend. And I’m not saying I disagree with you BTW because Curiel’s splits are just as bad.

It should anger anyone who looks at SEC stats. Pearson is the opposite of clutch. He's started 19 SEC games and has 1 RBI in his last 5 SEC series.

Ware looks so tense on the mound. Dude needs to chew a couple of gummies, etc. I mean a Yeskie visit doesn't help because he looks like he's ready to throw hands with several pitchers.
