When will Trump crack down on India and H1B's?

While the Hispanics decimate our blue collar jobs, the H1B's from India are decimating white collar jobs.
When will this administration address this?

Musk wanted *more* H1-Bs, and it would seem Trump at least nipped that in the bud.
That whole program is stupid. Why should all the computer shite be done by Indians? What's the connection there? They say they're really, really good at that stuff and we just accept that at face value? That's what it looks like from where I'm sitting.

They won’t. All of the biggest tech companies will make sure of it. Hell, half way through Trumps first term, applications began spiking and denial rates began dropping like a rock. Biden admin certainly made it worse but Trump won’t do shite about it.

They work for pennies on the dollar. Same issue as blue collar jobs.

Would like to see something done about the offshoring of jobs as well.

Ending birthright citizenship will tackle some of this. It's pretty well known that the Indian staffing agencies operate on a system of bribes. And once the bribes and fees are paid, the workers are still left with very low paying jobs in a high COL area when they get here.
I used to live in an apartment complex that was 80% Indian. I was chummy with the leasing agent (who processed their applications) and asked her how much they got paid and she said $20-25k. This was a place where 1BR apartments rented for over $1000 and 2BR were over $1400. They all leased a Honda with personalized plates too since there was not much in the way of public transportation. So I'm doing the math in my head - rent, utilities, car, food... that's every single bit of their paycheck (minus taxes and fees to their placement "brokers") with nothing left over.
So apart from the US being much nicer and cleaner than India, what's the payoff? They all have pregnant wives or wives planning to get pregnant. The baby becomes an instant US citizen when born, and an "anchor baby" for immigration concerns.
I don't think people in this country realize how valuable American citizenship and a US passport are. It's an actual commodity that people will undertake enormous sacrifice to acheive. And corporations are profiting off that desparation. And like the OP said, we're not talking about picking lettuce in 103 degree heat in the middle of nowhere or working the kill floor at a slaughterhouse. When they say we can't get Americans to do this work, I get it. The Indian brigade is working office jobs.

Just curious.. what sector in the Tech Industry do you work in?

The only reason companies hire Indians on H1B's is strictly because they are really inexpensive and it's a modern form of indentured servitude. it really sucks and should just be ended completely.

Cheap labor. I was replaced by cheap labor at my last job. Worst part was I was the one who trained the guy. They brought the fricker in from over seas so he could get hands on training for a couple months then sent him back and sent me packing not long after. And the company I’m currently at is talking about doing the same shite. They make it sound like it’s a great thing for the company but it’s only good for the ones at the top showing the CFO how much they’re able to lower the bottom dollar. The catch is you have to redo a lot of their work because it tends to be minimal or wrong.
It’s called HVEC, High value engineering centers

This is absolutely a problem.

Because theyll work for 10 cents on the dollar remotely.

Yep this myth that the Indians are all good like Usha Vance or others is false.
The off shored Indian teams were all horrible and useless. I wanted to have more interns from the US than use the off shore Indian teams

When will this administration address this?
This is top of my list of issues, and what holds me back from supporting Vance come 28.
Unfortunately I don't see this being fixed. To many tech bros holding the ears of this administration. Boeing is an example of how this hurts us. This admin promotes bringing new jobs to America, while they'll just import the cheap workers.
The America First mantra from Trump is fake, as long as, he doesn't end the illegal abuse of this system.

Yea it’s only good for short term company bottom line. The low value Indians will eventually erode the quality.
I had constant fights over using the off shore team because they were so much cheaper for the engagement metrics but the fact I had to listen to them every morning tell me why something in the data made them completely stop so only like a little work got done the night before would piss me off. Then I’d have to take time to find the solution give it to them in the afternoon before signing off.
If it was us based the intern could call me right away and we have minimum disruption.
The top 1 percent of Indians are elite level at what they do, the rest are near bottom of the barrel

In 20-25 yrs when we look back at Trumps legacy, him allowing they continued fundamental replacement transformation of America, may well be in the running of what it is.
It really is sad how this nations politicians hate its natives, and Trump, for all he says, may not prove to be any different.
In 20-25 yrs this nation will be like the chunks of TX, and other parts, that have been taken over by Indians, putting up their evil idioloistic statues. I remember something I saw on here, where in the majority of states, Indians are the 2nd largest minorities after Mexicans.
Very sad what the future of this nation holds, and Trump isn’t going to do anything but help destroy the fundamental destruction of its core fabric.

Tech is using H1Bs as a bridge to their long term plan of replacing much of their workforce using AI.
