He’s in studio on MLB network now. I know last year the complaint was that no American big name pitchers wanted to play. Hopefully his announcement can bring out some of the other big guns.

Only chance he'll have to pitch for a trophy for the next several years. Good for him.

Pool play will be in Houston. I hope the US saves him for the game against Team Mexico.

Well deserved. What a great experience it will be for him to play for the greatest country in the world and learn under THE JUDGE!

Not shocking given his patriotism and his want to serve the country before becoming an elite pitcher.

I did not like him when he was lighting up my Cats 2 seasons ago when we played y'all, but he's hard not to root for now. Fun to watch and a good dude.

I watched him on MLB Network this morning and I will say he needs to stick with just the throwback mustache look, no beard. Love the old school pitcher 'stache look

I had no idea the MLB was still propping up this tournament that no one watches.

Who wouldn't want to play with the JUDGE? Stupid people? People who like losing?

Were the overwhelming majority of them in Japan?

The WBC was freaking awesome in 2023. We need to bring our stud pitchers. Japan practices for this tournament every day of the year. The Japanese LOVE baseball
