LSU Basketball will never be the same.

Not negative, but think about it. When kids come out of high school and want to play ball, where do they look? LSU, no, Duke, UNC, UConn, Syracuse, etc....all Basketball schools. LSU cannot get the recruiting in basketball and cannot seal the big games. I just focus on football and baseball, LSU basketball is not worth mine or anyones time.

No hate... but the money is there. Xavier and the other non football playing schools have a little more resources than we do. But on that note we should have more moneys and more attraction than them except schools such as Duke.

I'm not sure I would put Syracuse in that group, at least not presently. 20 years ago, perhaps, or maybe Carmelo's one and only year there.

I don't buy this argument. LSU has a budget for basketball. Do you think Xavier's coach makes as much as Trent Johnson?

You should not use the word never, it has a tendency to come back to bite you in the arse and I hope they are not the same, that they will only get better and return to the Final Four and get their 1st basketball title since '35 if I am not mistaken...

no i hear you, but back in the day LSU had a good run, now days its different, no more love for the LSU basketball program, no matter what all the die hard basketball fans say.....i dont live in a pipe dream when it comes to LSU basketball, did you see the crappy 3 pointers that were thrown up, 3-17 is garbage....

How old are you? Dale Brown,despite his own shortcomings,showed LSU was more than a Football school almost 30 years ago.
