Hello friends as we return to Quail Hollow, a goat ranch not worthy of hosting a major championship but a favorite of Rory and JT

Our LIV friends will join their PGA Tour brethren in a tournament of love

Valhalla, Quail Hollow, and PGA Frisco in a 4 year period is a rough look for the PGA

Kiawah, Southern Hills and Oak Hill are three of my favorites that typically host the PGA, those three are not. I don’t mind Quail Hollow, just don’t like hosting a major at a regular tour stop as a fan

We sure its gonna suck?

I know the location sucks, nothing screams major championship golf like the nouveau rich urban sprawl of North Dallas suburbs

JT, Rory, Scottie, and Bryson have been playing really well. Each has at least one victory, plus multiple top-5 finishes in recent weeks. JT, Rory and Bryson also have a history of playing well at Quail Hollow.

Scottie doesn’t have much of a history with the course, but that is the only knock on him heading into the tournament.

I’d put those four as the heavy favorites over the rest of the field.

Schauffele is right there too. Defending champ & won 2 majors last year. Dude has finished T10 in 7 of his last 9 majors (5 in a row).

If they don’t pussy out and PGA Frisco gets firm and fast, it may not suck. If the soften it up and put the pins on flat spots it will suck

Two names to watch: Brooks Koepka and Justin Rose.

Heart says Spieth to complete the grand slam, but the head pick is McIlroy or Scheffler. Those two are terminators right now. Neither of them winning would be an upset.

You can never count out someone going low and stealing one though. Maybe like an Aberg, Hatton or Niemann.

The Big Golfer will be in it as well. Him and Rory are going to have a huge advantage with their distance off the tee this week

As long as this course plays and with absolute downpours mon-weds on schedule making th course play even longer, this will be the Rory and Bryson show again

Unfortunately this is going to be a one dimensional leaderboard completely likely. Big hitter only need apply

Im fine with that, it's a great matchup for golf.

But yeah the course is going to play really long. Don't see how any of the shorter guys like Morikawa, Harmon, get it done unless their irons are the best ever.

PGA Frisco is really bad but there’s some home cooking going on there. It’s their new HQ right? I just can’t group Quail in with those two courses it’s not that bad.
