Both solos are incredible and we're not even mentioning the riff at the end. Very well done. The solos stay with the vibe of the song and don't try to overpower it or overdo it.

Vivian Campbell’s solo in Dio-Rainbow in the Dark might be the most epic & complete guitar solo in rock history.

Unchained makes November Rain look like playschool. Probably my least favorite GnR song. Too pretentious and plodding.

Estranged goes hard.

Don't Cry (alt lyrics for me) also has a great melodic solo.

November Rain has reached the unfortunate status of getting labeled as overrated because it was so widely pushed....but to OP's point. Those solos are still amazing.

Plenty of other solos in the world that reach the level of these....all up to personal taste. But these are three of Slash's finest work.

They are both great, but the first is really the gem. Not a bad nominee by you.

Beyond the Realms of Death - Judas Priest

Master of Puppets - ("slow" solo, played by Hetfield)

Floods - Pantera

For the Love of God - Steve Vai

Wet Sand - RHCP
