Baton Rouge has everything you’d ever want.
If you’re into crime, traffic, pot holes, elevated municipal tax and marital frickery

Footnote the last I have nothing in experience or to do with

Baton Rouge is a great place to live. I have lived in suburban Atlanta and DFW and BR beats them in every case.

I’ve lived in both and this is just wrong in so many ways and on so many levels.

I can’t think of 1 medium sized city or larger I’d want to live in. I’ll take small cities any day.

I was thinking the same thing. All I could think of was Chargers burning out with trash music blaring.

I live in Oregon now but I tell many BR is fun to shite on but it’s not that bad. No regrets leaving I but I’d live in Baton Rouge over a lot of conventional Southern destinations.

The traffic is excruciating though. And people on the boards trash the west coast but there isn’t remotely the same amount of gun violence.

The dining scene is wayyyy underrated.

Do you think that every place doesn't have the same problems? Appreciate what you have and quit complaining. I'd move back in a heartbeat!

Baton Rouge has a ton of issues, like most cities, but it does have a good park system with some good golf courses

It’s true though. Baton Rouge has an excellent dining scene. I acknowledged homicides and traffic first

Go live in Jackson Ms for a few years and you’ll be thinking of BR as paradise on earth.

it’s like any louisiana city, the nice parts are nice and the rough parts are horrific.

There is more division of the 2 than New Orleans but not everyone lives ina. suburb an hour away like Atlanta and Houston.
