i never dust crawfish but will very lightly dust shrimp if doing a shrimp boil.

Way too much water to begin with. Just way too much shite in the boil as well. Is this a crawfish boil or what?
It’s just not all necessary to boil excellent crawfish.
Also, no mention of cooking times which is the most important part. It seems like every crawfish boil I’ve been to where I wasn’t boiling them the crawfish were cooked to pieces and impossible to peel and eat.

I completely understand gatekeeping food and do it all the time, but I will tell you exactly what is wrong with their boil... nothing if they like it.

Not close to the way I do it and who let the woman run the boil? Trying to do way too much imo ,but hey if they like it, good for them. I can't imagine that would be good ,but again if they like it.

Cooking crawfish is a simple process. You can tweak it here or there, but the basics to a good boil are exactly the same for everybody.
Social media has these do gooder types trying to reinvent the wheel. Crawfish is heading the way of BBQ and Smoking meats.
