Remember when Sen. John Cornyn said “Inshallah"

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) said Friday that he plans to run for reelection in 2026 no matter the result of his run to become Republican Senate leader later this year.
Cornyn, who is in the midst of his fourth term, told The Dallas Morning News of his plans.
quote:
“Yes. … I mean, God willing,” he told the paper. “Inshallah.”
Cornyn’s plans come despite a potential challenge from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R). The two have found themselves embroiled in a public spat after Cornyn announced his bid to replace Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) atop the conference.
Paxton posted on social media that “Republicans deserve better in their next leader and Texans deserve another conservative senator,” adding that the longtime senator wouldn’t be an “effective leader since he is anti-Trump, anti-gun, and will be focused on his highly competitive primary campaign in 2026.”

Does he have a large constituency that cares about this?
Posted on 5/9/25 at 6:37 pm to HailToTheChiz
No, unless he is invested in the planned Muslim city.

four years in Saudi our local diction was terrible but the most frequent term was "Salami and bacon,,,,,responded to with bacon and salami"

God and the “god” of the Koran (Allah) are not the same.

Are you serious Clark???
Do you know what Arabic Christians call God in Arabic??? It’s ALLAH.
Every Arabic Christian says Insha Allah when saying if God wills…not a Muslim copyright.

Paxton is the clear choice in that race, and somebody worth a damn has to step up and primary our state's POS, Cassidy.

Did the muslim allah send his son to die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins so that we wouldn't suffer eternal damnation in hell?
While both are Abrahamic religions, there are fundamental differences in ideas of who God is and what He expects of us.
quote:
Is He a Triune God of three equal and eternal Persons, as in Christianity, or is the simple monotheism of Islam the answer? The Trinity is at the core of Christianity, to the point that you cannot be rightly be called a Christian if you deny it. Likewise, the idea of God having a Son in any sense is explicitly condemned in Islam. These two versions of God can’t both exist, and the respective religions cannot both be true.

Dude,
Where did I say the Holy Trinity of GOD the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of GOD and the Holy Spirit are the same as God of Islam????
The word ALLAH in Arabic is the same for Christians, Jews and Muslims…period.
Just like red is the word for the color in English no matter your faith.

I just did a poll yesterday from some group about Paxton and Cornyn.
I was in Paxton's camp on the first few questions then it went to "well Paxton did this illegally" so on and so on and I still answered yes.
Cornyn had to have paid for that poll. F him.

The reason why I said that is because so many people say that because Islam also claims origins in Abraham, that they are the same God. They are not.

I’ve never seen anyone on TD say that…and we have some complete morons on here.
Your transliteration of Koran is also incorrect. It’s Qu’ran or Quran.

The god Cornyn spoke of is the father of lies.

Muslims believe in the antichrist. Their world view, is that Jesus will break the cross and lead a jihad against Christians.
