Warriors traded Poole for Chris paul

And other scrubs attached. I know poole doesnt have a great reputation since draymond beat him up cause he was threatened by him but he averaged 20 points on 37% 3 and 4,5 rebounds and assists on the lowly wizards. He isnt the greatest player by any stretch but with time under his belt him and steph could have been formidable. I feel like they dont get enough heat for that horrid trade. They would be more capable now assuming they still got butler and replaced greene along the way with someone semi good

Poole was seen as one of, if not THE, worst contracts in the NBA prior to this year. Now he's just a severely negative asset.

Jordan Poole doesn't play defense either. You left that part out.

He was useless on the Warriors, he’s a volume shooter on a team with Steph and Klay. He brought no value to the team on the defensive side. There wasn’t enough touches for him.

Yeah I guess they didn’t want to pay him to be a bench player. He was wanting to get paid and the wizards did. Like someone said a horrible contract.

He would probably start alongside steph by now though wouldnt he? With butler, another PF....i dont know though but if he was just gonna ride pine you cant pay that

Don’t disagree with moving Poole but CP3 was a dumb return on that. But again Kerr is like the head mean girl at a HS. The way he runs that group is one of the weirdest dynamics I’ve ever seen in sports.

The trade was in many respects a salary dump of that contract
