U.S.-U.K. Deal Terms

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick announced details.

He said the U.S. would bring in $6 billion a year via a 10% tariff.

In return, the U.S. will allow 100,000 U.K. autos into the U.S. with a 10% tariff, below the 25% base automotive tariff.

Orange man actually did it. This will set the standard for all other trade deals. Massive income from one deal, with many more large deals to follow

LINK

Some more info on whether this could scale to cover income tax revenue from all earners below $200k. That revenue is expected to be around $700B. So we’re a long ways off from covering all of that

No I can't. But someone can.

This presser has been vintage Trump, owning the room and showing the world why the US is still on the top of the Global economic totem pole.

How so?

Is free and balanced trade with each US trading partner a negative for the American people?

The Range Rovers should come with free towing service.

Their quality ranks up there with British teeth.

I listened to the presser and from what I gathered the UK had banned much of the agricultural products from the US in order to protect their own domestic sources.....sounds like those barriers are coming down and US agricultural products will be available to the UK consumer......I think that's a win.

Well… the 300k super car just got more expensive. It’ll have a drastic effect on 0.000001% of the American population. Even worse, it’ll bring 700B into the treasury that can be used to invest in America… or to offset tax cuts.

It is awful.
