The Reserves and National Guard are about to get hit hard with this to soften the blow to the Active Duty.

Must be why there's "breaking news" about Hegseth's Signal use for Pentagon business...

I don't think so, the reserve is just a shadow of what it used to be and the guard has one General per state.

The Navy has 270 Admirals and 470 ships, 1 Admiral for every 1.74 ships.
Bloodbath for dead weight.

The National Guard Bureau can return to its original functions of funding and equipping the 54 state and territorial National Guards. They are NOT an operational headquarters and a bunch of GO slots can be cut there.

It will be the public-private partnerships/ dual-use operations that will see the United States through - not our outdated slow and bloated bureaucracy.

Also: grab as much palantir/Epirus/ShieldAI/etc stock as you can now and retire a fat rich bastard one day, if we are still alive.

One star generals work, two stars mostly work. 3 and up are just politicians wearing camo.

Slots in the Guard are divided amongst states, some states gain more rank and some lose, and they get moved around every October. My point was that I think the Navy is going to be the loser.
