Houston was a Cute Little Story - Choke City Redux #1359986984

They made it interesting, but you knew they were going to come up small in Game seven. The Rockets would have lost to the Wolves in 5 anyway, If you cannot score 90 points, then you do not deserve to advance. Houston is Choke City. If it wasn't for Hakeem, they would be the Clippers.

How many years did the Astros knock the Yankees out of the playoffs? ‘15, ‘17, ‘22..what other years am I missing?

Rockets would lose to any West team not named the Grizzlies. They have no go-to scorer, and it screwed them in this series. But Houston always comes up small. Curry owns the Rockets.

An Aaron Judge fan knows a lot about choking.

This has nothing to do with the Yankees; this is about the Houston Rockets choking year after year. They had HCA against the Warriors in 2018 and 2025 and lost in spectacular fashion. Outside of the Hakeem years, they are the Clippers. Really, they only have titles because MJ retired.

Melt bitch. They swept the team that knocked MJ out of the playoffs. Deal with it.

Only reason this series wasn't over in 5 was VanVleet going nuclear from 3 the last two games. He crashed back down to earth hard tonight. 3/6 with one in garbage time.
Houston had:
12 more FTA's
14 more rebounds
11 more offensive rebounds
15 more second chance points (GS had 0)
And they STILL got blown out. So yeah, they definitely need a shooter. I thought Jabari Smith was that guy, but it feels like they're afraid to give him meaningful minutes.

These clowns love trying to go off topic to disrespect greatness. Let’s talk greatness and stay on topic: CHEF CURRY
The Chef Curry has clutch in his DNA just like THE JUDGE. I wish the Pelicans were capable of drafting a player that can take over like Buddy Hield. Golden State finna go on a run!

If the size of the Rockets gave them trouble, I would suspect they have a tough time with Minnesotas size.
Also, Draymond might miss 1/2 the series with techs/flagrants from cheap shotting Gaubert.

MJ wasn't at full speed and you know it. Nick Anderson choked like James Harden in Game One
2015 - owned in all phases
2016 - Did not have Curry for three games, and still lost in 5
2018 - 7 for 44 from three, including 27 misses in a row (CHOKE) at home
2019 - Curry dumped 33 in the second half in a Game Six win without Durant
2025 - Rockets finally make the playoffs again since the bubble. Got to Game Seven at home, and scored 89

Didn't the Chokets lose to the Spurs by like 40 at home with Harden?
At least the Yankees never had home field in any series.

Scored 55 against the Knicks. Doesn’t matter anyway. It’s irrelevant. They weren’t beating Orlando in any event. They got beat and the team that beat them got their arse kicked 4 games in a row. Make your FT Nick Anderson. That’s part of the deal. Just like if Houston makes their FT in game 4, this series doesnt even get to game 7, but you conveniently forget that. Sorry that hurts your feelings.
2015-2025. Nothing that happened in those years had anything to do with happened in 94-95. 20 years apart. You must be 12 years old to draw any comparison to the two.
2015, 2016 and 2019, the Warriors were better than the Rockets. What’s your point?
2018 was admittedly a gag.

They were up 1-0 in 2019 after winning game 1 in Houston and gagged two of the next three at home.

You seem to start these threads about every team that gets beat. You also seem small.
