For a guy who comes off the bench cold and strikes out in 4 pitches.

I love Jay, but sometimes man…

For a guy who got a chance to start but struggled vs SEC pitching. I don’t understand it either

It’s like he tries to something no one else would ever do every game. I love the pitching changes but he gets too cute a lot.

He seems to step in a bit too often at times when the momentum of a baseball game would tell you not too.

Unfortunately good coaches are their own worst enemy, outcoach themselves

If you aren’t on another level good Jay will almost always play the Right lefty game.

He believes in matchups to a fault

You all give zero acknowledgment when it works. That is what is funny

100%. Like the base hit pitch hit Friday night vs Tennessee. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. You’re playing percentages.

Exactly G. That’s just one of many examples. I think they’ve done really well in these situations all year

Conversely, the pitching is managed the same way. Matchups are heightened late in games. If you agree with that then you should at least understand the hitting moves

Relies too much on analytics. Sometimes you just have to use common sense.

Are you talking about Hernandez?

They changed pitchers and he's struggled vs RHP.

Just cause he was seeing a lefty well doesn't really change that.
