LINKAnybody know what happened? Happened at 8:15 am. Seems like it had to employee related?

Ashley Wood with the Lafayette Police Department confirmed a murder-suicide had occurred at that location, but couldn’t immediately confirm further details.
The deadly incident unfolded on Saturday, May 3, around 8:15 a.m., well after bar closing time and the pair were not bar customers. Sources indicated the arguing couple were in a car that pulled into the parking lot. That’s when the man apparently pulled out a gun and shot the woman before killing himself.
A worker at the McDonald’s next door witnessed the commotion and apparently called police. Sources indicated a Legends security camera captured an image of a bright flash inside the car at the time of the shootings.
Lafayette police officers were on scene actively investigating the double homicide until late morning when a coroner’s van containing the bodies departed from the Legend’s lot.
A short time later, the car was towed away and police removed crime scene tape that surrounded the entire Legend’s building and parking lot.

Well after bar closing time??? Seems like it should say well before bar opening time. What time do bars close in Lafayette?

This reads like a real journalist had to step out for an emergency and handed the rest of the article off to his 8-year-old daughter with a crayon and a deadline.
