Ryan Reynolds is working on a Deadpool/X-Men teamup movie

I heard his chair scene was already filmed, but he's not under contract.
But my point was that on the heels of the Justin Baldoni stuff with Ryan and his wife, his stock isn't as high as it was right after D x W.

It's not just mcu fans. Go walk around and ask people if they know who Justin Baldoni is lol. This isn't going to affect anything for Reynolds.

The media will have to decide, but my guess is that since Blake was / is besties with Taylor Swift, there's a tie in with the Baldoni case (it's not going away) and that'll come back around on Ryan. Who allegedly made Nice Pool as a direct jab at Baldoni.
But maybe in 6 months, no one will remember. But it's still top of mind on shows like The View, sites like FORBES, etc.. it's not a nothing story.

How that trash is still on the air defies logic.
But to my bigger point, it’s true. Some here might not want to hear it but it doesn’t change a thing. There are enough Swifties & romance novel fans out there who’ll follow this story that the tabloid media will keep stoking the controversy.

Awesome. I really enjoyed DeadPool/Wolverine. Reynolds seems like one of the few actors/directors not influenced by the trend of destroying their movie by filling it with woke crap and not staying loyal to the source material. So I am hopefully optimistic.
