it sort of pisses me off this dudes a multi time over millionaire and gets thousands of dollars worth of merch he'll probably never wear sent to him constantly and he makes these dumbass videos.

His ability to rattle off historical players and details for most of these schools is kinda amazing

I love Gruden but he knows the boxes are coming in and he does homework. He has a couple barstool guys that work for him exclusively, they probably have a cheat sheet for him on alumni for each school.

Not saying you’re wrong but he’s been a walking football encyclopedia for a long time. He’s had very interesting interviews and videos over the years. He knows his history for sure

I’m not so sure. Gruden strikes me as the true sports nerd that a lot of us were as kids and he really never outgrew that part. Guy just loves sports.
He may be just a hell of an actor but he seems to genuinely geek out when those boxes arrive.

Hopefully he ultimately picks out what he wants to keep, and sends the rest back, or even somehow give it to fans of the school.

st.louis blues sent him some stuff after he was wearing one of their jerseys, then flew him out for game 6, to get crowd wound up. they crushed winnepeg yesterday
best was bringing back local guy, pat maroon, he got crowd going, fans were throwing him beers and he was chugging them by the 2's. guy is a true gamer, and went to HS about 5 miles from me.
