Grok AI is gonna put Fake News out of Business

So I was about to click on and read this story on Zerohedge about the imminent collapse of China but one of the responses ask Grok to show a history summary of the author calling for the collapse of China and it noted they were calling for the collapse since 2001
This is great news and now you understand why some posters hate Twitter and Grok AI. They can no longer peddle BS and get away with it.

China is going to have issues with a rapidly aging population. They will face some challenges because they just won’t have enough young people to support their population. One child policy is going to hurt them economically and stunt their growth. I saw a Chinese sociologist estimated that as many as 400 million children were aborted during that period.

That's incredible
It really is. It saved me time because after I read that I didn't bother reading the article. This type of real time analysis is very helpful

laowhy and serpentza have a lot of interesting stuff on their podcasts.
a census loss of a billion people seems incredible.
I also noticed they had NPR as one of their sponsors on the podcast i watched the other night.
I am not sure what is going on with those guys.

The Elites who run the world disagree with you. AI and robotics purpose is to allow the World to still function without as many humans. This has been their end game goal. Covid-19 was the test run. As soon as AI and robotics reach a point were they can eliminate billions of humans they will do it with a new virus that has a 15-20% CFR.

Claims that China’s population is only 300–400 million, as reportedly suggested by Laowhy, stem from controversial theories questioning official Chinese statistics. These claims, often discussed on platforms like YouTube and X, argue that China’s reported population of ~1.4 billion is inflated due to historical data manipulation, underreported COVID-19 deaths, and low fertility rates. For instance, demographer Yi Fuxian has suggested China’s population could be overestimated by over 100 million, citing discrepancies in census data and birth/death records.
However, mainstream sources, including the United Nations, World Bank, and China’s National Bureau of Statistics, consistently report China’s population at around 1.408–1.41 billion as of 2023–2024, with a slight decline from 1.412 billion in 2020. These figures are based on decennial censuses, with the 2020 census widely regarded as reliable due to international assistance. While some argue local governments may overreport populations for funding, a reduction to 300–400 million is considered implausible by most demographers, as it would imply an unfeasible loss of ~1 billion people undetected by global monitoring.
Skeptics of the lower estimate point to visible urban density, economic activity, and infrastructure supporting a much larger population. The claim also conflicts with historical data: China’s population was ~1 billion in 1982, and even with low fertility (TFR ~1.09 in 2022), it’s unlikely to have dropped so drastically. Posts on X reflect this debate, with some users citing Laowhy’s claims but lacking verifiable evidence.

The problems China has are real, the problem for people predicting their collapse is twofold:
1. You can't trust any of the information coming out of China, good or bad
2. It's a dictatorship, they can force their people to put up with a lot, for a lot longer than we can. For example they just may tell their people to suck it up until Trump is out of office, and the next idiot reverses tarriffs.

Look at the horse population after the industrial revolution. That is our future.

I’m not saying they don’t have a billion people. But China building cities no one lives in isn’t indicative of a much larger population.

That's not what he says he believes. He is debunking the 300-400 million. There is definitely more than that there.

Fake News. Most of the cities they build have a long term (10-20 years) vision. The MSM ran those stories 10 years ago and now look at the cities. Does China have some cities that are not fully populated? Yes. Are all the cities that they built Ghost Cities with nobody living in them? No

I watched a YouTube video a while back a guy made to "expose" China's ghost cities and you could see people, traffic, and businesses everywhere.

Chang with China's imminent collapse is like AOC with the end of the planet.

Sounds familiar. The 3 Gorges Dam was supposed to suffer a cataclysmic failure with all the heavy rains.
