Let’s end this once and for all and consolidate these sites into one giant shitty take

Damn
Shannon Terry has made millions off of building something, selling it, building an exact copy, selling it, building another exact copy, and buying his first business back

Not an exact copy though, I think most would argue each new site was definitely better and offered a little more than the last one which is what many people flooding to new one each time - also they seemed to acquire some of the best board mods in each move
Yahoo and CBS certainly didnt put a good enough non compete together for Shannon leaving each time he did.

Well the technology changed a good bit with each new start
Shannon may have intentionally stalled the sites true growth to save it for his next venture

Well dang now who do I say is the more credible site. Would previously put my belief in the one that had LSU's class and recruits ranked higher. The other was shite of course this was all subject to change.

I honestly don’t how any of these paid sites are still in business to begin with. Maybe folks feel like they have to provide a living for those guys or something. With NIL, they’re very rarely right about anything, and they weren’t that reliable beforehand. Our guys anyway.

No one gives a frick about big national recruiting now that the portal exists and these guys won't be at the same school not even 15 months into their careers starting

If he ever buys out the Cluckser and takes over here. I will remember you all

What he said these guys like Speigs & Shay only make the call at the very last minute and still get burned by the $$$NIL bag. Why does yahoo keep buying these sites… they are losing money, just throwing it out the window as these sites don’t make any money when they are hawking $1 per prescription and ads that are local and not worth any real money. Bad business model but he finds a sucker every time.

Not public that I can find but according to what I can find, ON3 is around 25 mil a year in revenue. Rivals, from what I saw, 35 million in revenue. Somewhere between 50-60 combined. They aren't losing money.
From Terry's perspective, his team just builds and sells. Rinse, repeat. Quite impressive actually considering each new incarnation becomes the industry leader and poaches all the top "talent?" in the industry which generally includes the top earning team sites in the industry. Follow Bama Online. Where they go is where the money and influence is going.
That said, as profitable as it may be, this merge is not good for us the consumer, the real sucker's here. Sure on the surface the availability of info from both networks will appease, however, the quality of the opinions and evaluations will suffer. There will only be one voice. Don't like it, choose elsewhere. That's right, there isn't anywhere else. A monopoly is a monopoly even if it is just a trivial, fully opinionated industry based around rumors about teenagers. In any form of media, only one voice is not a good thing.

I mean they do everything in the transfer portal as well. Also, with NIL On3 is able to throw their NIL valuations on players and fans think those numbers actually mean something.
