A lot of highs, some lows. A lot of us asked for a period piece. We're getting one, for better or worse. The family dynamic seems better in this trailer. The Silver Surfer is just unimpressive.

The constant misunderstanding that Julia Garner isn't portraying Silver Surfer is absolutely exhausting, but nonetheless this trailer looks really damn good.

She's Shalla-Bal, love interest to the Silver Surfer, herald to Galactus. For people who actually understand the source material (like who made the trailer), it's very obvious. Norrin Radd will appear in present day MCU.
One of the reasons Shalla-Bal becomes Galactus's herald is literally to find Radd. People just don't know the source material and freak out rather than trying to understand.

This trailer makes me lose interest in this film. Sue isn't the leader of the FF, and Silver Surfer isn't a woman.
I'm completely done with the girl boss MCU garbage. It's no coincidence that the movies have mostly sucked since this started.

- Reed Richards wrecked with guilt and stress realizing he doesn’t have the answers to everything
- Susan as the backbone of the family keeping her borderline autistic husband grounded and focused
- Johnny and Ben already have that brother dynamic
- Silver Surfer actually looks great. Julia Garner seems to have the emotionless, monotone speech pattern down
- Galactus as the gigantic mega threat he’s supposed to be. I cannot wait to see the full reveal and hear Ineson’s voice
