I listened to "Star" (Belly) all the way through last week. Man, that's a good album.

Great year for music but the only year I'd like to have a do-over in life.

I'm surprised to see that Urge Overkill song so high.

Good? Piss off! That's a freaking classic. I listen to it quite often to this day. White Belly is not only their greatest song, but it's an all time great in its own right.

Jesus, that list is insane! I can't remember the last time we had so many timeless hits like this.

Happy to see Paul Westetberg on that list. Love his solo material. Need to spend more time listening to The Replacements

Both these songs from Singles Soundtrack
1992
This song always puts a smile on my face

Can't believe Belly and Juliana Hatfield ranked that highly even though they're so of the time.

There's just one band missing, though, that I can't quite put my finger on...

No Rain was one of my go-to after the bar songs when you get home at 2am and want to drink 1 or 2 more before crashing

I didn't realize Human Behavior came out in 93. It feels like at late 90s song, and seems out of place with the rest of those songs.

I love that song (Human Behavior) and Bjork and The Sugarcubes at this time.
and this one from 1992

The song that seems out of place to me is Bad Religion- American Jesus. But only cuz I didn’t really listen to them

I’m an unabashed fan of The Sugarcubes. They’re basically an Icelandic B52s

I enjoy looking at the older music charts. It always reminds me of great songs I’ve forgotten
