Willie almost feels untouchable. Griff apparently wanted to fire Green mid season and Gayle said no. That was the beginning of the end for Griff

we have taken more meetings with church officials to cover up sex crimes than we have to find the next leader of our professional basketball team

its pretty clear that the rumors are true, Griff wanted to fire Green midseason and that's when Gayle said absolutely not and decided to let Griff go after the deadline.
Dumars has long been in contact with Loomis and Gayle, he is friends with them.
Its clear he got in their ear and got the job a long time ago.
Kushner says that Dumars's family was telling people in league circles several days ago that they were moving to NOLA
