Some eye-popping numbers from Cowan in SEC play. And the best changeup in college baseball. Doing his job in dominant fashion:

.47 ERA, 19.1 IP, 1 ER, 4 BB, 23 K, .145 B/AVG

And still not starting, having to come in the 2nd or 3rd inning to bailout shores. Just make him the Sunday starter.

On some real shite, I think folks who melt re: baseball after one series against a soon to be top 10 ranked SEC ball club are simply trying to show, in their own special way, how much they care and follow this here LSU Fighting Tiger Baseball progrum....

They're not proving anything except that they don't know ball...

Props to LSU relievers this weekend.

As an aside, I noticed Auburn pitching really did well to pitch around LSU's dangerous hitters all weekend - smart coaching even though I believe their catcher called the game.

He was recruited as a two-way player out of high school. Also played SS.

This.

Also humiliating the offense just doesn't mother fricking show up either.

God forbid you if you say something that questions the decision making of the ball club

He was Woffords Friday night starter (a regional team), he’s def good enough to be our Sunday starter

One way to perhaps get more strategic use out of Cowan is to use him in a swing role. That is, if needed in relief in G1, then use him. If not, let him start G3. And if only used to close out G1, perhaps let him throw again in G3 if needed.

Heck, a Cowan-Casan combo would probably have shut Auburn out and 2 runs would've won it today.

I don't give a rat's arse about individual accomplishments-personal stats.

I only care about the TEAM and TEAM VICTORY'S.

All you Cheerleaders just trying to deflect and pull the attention away from THE TEAM getting their asses wiped at Auburn.

That's Baseball, We'll be Fine and all that claptrap BS, huh?

Semjase once again reveals that he was a band guy and not a sports guy.
