There’s absolutely no reason to wear a tshirt or a “wifebeater” type shirt under any other shirt (button down, polo, etc).

I automatically assume people who wear wifebeaters under shirts smell like Vic's Vapor Rub and mothballs.

Undershirts will extend the life of your outerwear by absorbing sweat/stains/oil/odor. They’ll also make your dress shirts less transparent. No one wants to see your huge puffy nipples through your light shirts.

Do you wear underwear? If so, I’d like to know the logic.

I would not take style tips from someone who doesn't know the difference between a t-shirt and an undershirt.

When it's above 80 degrees and I'm working on my farm, I wear Dickies coveralls every day. I also wear a wife beater underneath because the fabric irritates my nips if I don't.

I wear a t-shirt under everything except another t-shirt. Crew neck naturally.

Yep, but I wouldn't wear a tacky sweater.

You have to wear an undershirt to get your picture made when you pay to get a Real ID.

Depending on the shirt, you can now get some compression shirts to hide the fat and man boobs.

I stopped wearing underwear during Covid. No way I could go back.

I wear undershirts even under t shirts to keep the pits from staining from deodorant. I don’t give a frick what you think or what any one else thinks…

All of this.

Plus, starting a thread about men’s undergarments at 1AM is weird at best.
