The SEC is far and away the best conference in baseball, with 9 of 10 top RPI teams playing in the SEC. As such, the SEC is guaranteed at least 4 Top 8 seeds - we just need to finish in the top 4.

Looking at today - Arky, Texas, and TennerC all lost, so we didn't lose any ground. We are still solidly a Top 4 SEC team.

Just let this thing play out.

My motto in life (and baseball) is things are never as good or as bad as they seem.

Think back to the OU road series - after that sweep, all I thought was we gave ourselves a little room for error.

If they don't correct the hitting quickly, they won't be one of those four teams.

Do you recall the 2023 team going through a very poor stretch at the plate? I do.

Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Auburn is a solid ball club and their pitching staff has performed fairly well this weekend.

Just after two games I think Auburn seems like a well coached team.

Hopefully LSU gets a strong outing from Shores and get some timely hits to avoid the sweep.

Nauseating Saturday night MA spewing.

Here we go.

"It's OK that the Tigers lost because so did Team A, B & C because that's just baseball and we'll be fine and anybody that doesn't agree with me and all of my fellow MA eunuchs are just miserable and we're all superior fans because we accept the Meds."

All MA"s are weak cheerleading geek freaks.

We are fricked bc our offense can’t show up in clutch appearances, don’t even think that can’t happen to us at home too

If we can win tomorrow we are 11-4 at the halfway point. This was the sixth consecutive away game. After last year 11-4 sounds pretty good.

I've just followed college baseball for so long to understand that it's the entire body of work that counts versus one poor weekend on the road.

Never intended to call anyone out. Stop being so sensitive.

Because of a couple of days of rough patches? Baseball doesn’t work like that. If that’s the case then Tennessee is fricked because A&M exploded last weekend against them. Which obviously isn’t the case. Also Auburn is fricked because they got swept by Georgia. Also, Arkansas is fricked because they lost to Georgia today. Don’t forget Georgia is also fricked from last weekend. So in conclusion we’re all fricked lol.

And 3 sweeps. Do you only focus on the negative outcomes?

The Dodgers just lost 2 of 3 to the Nats. It happens.

Many were bitching about the bullpen, the coach, underperforming players and lack of enthusiasm two years ago about this time (early May). Then, everything came together. Last year, we win one more in Chapel Hill and we’re in Omaha.
