I don't want new wars and all, but even the remote possibility of Iran attaining a nuclear weapon is unacceptable. Negotiations with them are impossible, as the last few decades have proven.

Its not all about Israel. Think about if Iran had a nuclear weapon or even threatened to have one.
They could hold the entire Middle East hostage.

Remember, these are the same maniacs that have been funding Hamas, the Houties, and Hezbola. Their religious beliefs allow them to strap bombs on men, women, and teenagers and walk into a cafe, a bus, a public market and kill themselves and as many innocents as possible.

You speak as if we're talking about a reasonable and trustworthy regime. As I described in my post, these people are savages and pay other less sophisticated savages to do thier bidding. Such as strapping bombs to women and teenagers to detonate in buses, cafes, and markets killing themselves and other innocent folks that happen to be there. Also, supplying savages with missiles to sink ships that have nothing to do with them and interrupt international shipping.
It's impossible to negotiate with sociopaths that have plainly stated their only goal is to kill all Jews and infidels. Hint, you and I are considered infidels

We need cover when we destroy their entire nuclear program. We need to be able to say we tried to negotiate but they wouldn't budge. There undoubtedly will be a lot of dead and I'm guessing some nuclear material exposed.
