What’s the best way? We are going for Halloween Horror nights in October and will likely do the 3 night/3 park ticket option but any advice would be awesome.

If you have money, either get express or do VIP for your epic day. VIP if you only want to do attractions and don’t really care about interactives or taking your time exploring the land. If you do want that, go the express route.

Single day tickets are available through the Universal website now. You no longer have to purchase the 3 day, 3 park ticket if you don't want to.

Looking to go in December... Don't know if you've seen the preview videos that have been coming out since they invited all the influencers and the likes, but the park looks freaking incredible.

The How to Train Your Dragon character interactions have set the bar very very high.

I've been very tempted to pull my kid out of school now that previews are open to hotel guests and go down for a day or two.

I wish my wife's family member didn't retire. TM previews looked like a fantastic time to see everything with little to no wait.

I would spring for at least Express for Epic.

I’m trying to go in completely blind so I’m surprised by everything but I still would like to be able to experience everything with the one day we have.

A couple of years I ago I talked to an engineer who worked on this job and he was peacocking about the park making Disney obsolete. Will be interesting to see the full public reaction when it opens.

With Disney adults existing, Disney will never be obsolete.

There are so many people visiting both of these companies parks in Orlando; they both get plenty of business. Neither are hurting for guests.

The difference is the immersion factor. Disney use to easily win the immersion factor for their parks and rides. The gap has all but closed and Disney has taken some hits to the chin and some of the new things they have put into parks are as weak as what Universal use to do with their parks. Ever since Harry Potter, Universal on the other hand is going the extra bit to really make things better like Disney once did. Nintendo world at other parks has been outstanding. Everything from the previews on Epic shows this trend continuing with people calling the monsters universal ride one of the best rides in a long time for something that doesn't have a massive current big budget IP behind it. Everything out there looks great so far.

Disney should really be hitting it out of the park and going gang busters. Their idiocy to not just cater to the fans is mind numbing. Disney tanked Star Wars and Batoo is kinda weak to be honest. It should have really been leaning into the OT from the beginning instead of just now bringing in some of the classic characters. Universal is cock blocking them from Marvel, . Marvel fatigue is getting real and I have not been impressed what they have done with Marvel in other parks.

Universal still has one big power play in their pocket. When Pokemon comes to Universal, shite is going to get insane.

Interesting. On that note who has rights to Minecraft and Fortnite? After seeing what the Minecraft movie did it seems like these would be the next wave for the young generation.
