you got us here leftist
So, what you are saying is that you can't think for yourself. All these politicians on both sides of the aisle kicking the kickbacks from other countries are being forced to stand up to tariffs in order to save their kickbacks. It isn't rocket science.

The other day I said that I see a lot of thoughtful people on both side of the tariffs having a healthy debate.
That's the way it should work. We are exploring ideas to try and find the best answers.
That's a good thing for our country!

STFU, Rand. You could have fixed all this shite years ago and you didn't. STFU, sit down and let the people who ran for election, and won based on campaign promises about addressing all of this stuff, do what they were elected to do. It's fricking hilarious they don't see that the tariffs are a negotiating tool to benefit the U.S... and they're already proving to be a very successful one, after just a few days of Wall Street and TDS f@gs crying like the sky is falling.

That last sentence or so is... fricking retarded, Rand.

Trump was in a larger position of power and didnt "fix it" and you voted for him again.

NO... if you aren't in lockstep with Trump, don't back his every single move... if you disagree with him in ANY way, you are quite obviously liberal scum who likely voted for Harris and have TDS. Didn't you get the memo?

Rand is like so many that look at "free trade" in a vacuum.
If China will sell us trinkets for dirt cheap, that's good if you look only at the price of trinkets.
If you look at the wide ranging effects of sourcing cheap trinkets from China however, you see that we are funding an adversary while lowering demand for jobs in our own country which lowers wages and/or causes many to go on government assistance. Which makes them dependent upon taxpayers. It also reduces the tax base due to factories shutting down.
Just look at how many people are dependent upon government cheese today. The "free traders" will claim the government is subsidizing business with tariffs while ignoring the government is subsidizing the millions sitting on the dole.
*Government cheese needs to be cut back to those that truly need it. There are millions of people out there that can do blue collar jobs. They don't because they don't need to.

Its not efficient or economical for us to make "trinkets" which is why we offshore and produce more high value manufacturing.
The people who claim we have lost most mfg are idiots.

OK, Rand is coming off as economically illiterate. He has a trade deficit with his grocery store? What products exactly has he been trying to get on the shelves of his grocery store. because thats how trade works in the conversation of tariffs
And the fact the he doesnt understand that even the products that he buys is controlled by the merchandising fees of that particular grocery store, is hysterical

You dont care about facts either.
10 minutes of actual research and you would be more educated on this.
What you little baws think is opinion is actually textbook economics.
