He knows the legitimacy of the courts is on the line here. They have no ability to enforce these ridiculous rulings.

What’s crazy to me is I keep hearing that Trump sent a guy to prison and it was not a MS13 gang member

They labeled the dude MS13 instead of TDA gang member

This is what this entire thing is about

MSM is laying it on thick over this sweet papa.

quote:

The administration has conceded that Abrego Garcia should not have been sent to El Salvador because an immigration judge found he likely would face persecution by local gangs.

But he is no longer in U.S. custody and the government has no way to get him back, the administration argued.

quote:

The White House has described Abrego Garcia’s deportation as an “administrative error” but has also cast him an MS-13 gang member. Attorneys for Abrego Garcia said there is no evidence he was in MS-13.

“The Executive branch may not seize individuals from the streets, deposit them in foreign prisons in violation of court orders, and then invoke the separation of powers to insulate its unlawful actions from judicial scrutiny,” Abrego Garcia’s lawyers wrote in a response filed moments after Roberts issued his temporary pause.

Xinis wrote that the decision to arrest him and send him to El Salvador appears to be "wholly lawless," explaining that little to no evidence supports a "vague, uncorroborated" allegation that Abrego Garcia was once an MS-13 member.

Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old Salvadoran national who has never been charged or convicted of any crime, was detained by immigration agents and deported last month.

He had a permit from DHS to legally work in the U.S. and was a sheet metal apprentice pursuing a journeyman license, his attorney said. His wife is a U.S. citizen.

At some point someone is going to have to tell the Article III branch to stay in its lane.

Roberts is probably thinking that it he doesn't police his own crew, Congress will. And they don't want that.

This. If he allowed the ruling to go through, the SC credibility, and his, would be shite.

Yup, if Roberts doesn't comply, Trump will roll him over.
The only way to resist with any legitimacy is to slow roll the smack down.

That also gives them a chance to gauge public support.
So far, the majority is still with team Trump.

The "resistance" is manufactured and inorganic.

Is it truly a done deal or is Roberts asking for a response by tomorrow? What does it mean?

I think its reversed, they listed as TDA and he is in fact MS13. But to your point FL Tech, all we kept hearing was it was an administrative error he should not be deported, he has a child and a wife who is a citizen (a frickin anchor baby who has now birthed an anchor grandbaby).

He is a frickin terrorist, both are listed as such. Lawfare nonsense.

And that squirrely lawyer for the DOJ should be hung up by his balls.
