Picking up some steals today

I set a bunch of limit orders at 52 week lows and am buying left and right. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. This is like COVID era deals. I made $100,000 grand that year buying at the lows. Get in this.

Nibbling a bit each day it drops is my plan. Not firing off all my cash in 1 day.

Though it may not feel like it, every market crash has always recovered in the long run. Whether it was 9/11, 2008, or 2018, history shows all crashes recover. We had one gap down and another the next day last Friday. Gaps are still bad on the way down currently.
So, maybe, but things are still going down for now. VIX is generally saying "do not buy stocks. Yet." At 53.75 now. Not that you can't find certain "bargains", so maybe you dabble here and there over the week. I think today will start a floor and by end of week it's going to reverse.

Agreed. I never go “all in” but I am definitely buying some when I see a stock I follow down 25%. I don’t try to time the bottom. As Buffett said, you don’t have to get the best deal to get a good deal. If Trump negotiates multiple tariff deals this week the stock market will go up. Don’t try to time this. Take advantage now.

Also, I think with individual stocks, if you automate your exits with defined targets, then you don't get hammered riding it down as well.
And just like that the VIX plummets to 48.6 and Dow moves into positive territory. For now!

Check out Ford. Even if prices go lower, the 6.25% dividend and solid dividend history makes it attractive, IMO. And if the tariffs work, US auto manufacturers should benefit.

there's a poster on this board who called the 2009 bottom to the day. It was the only post in td.com history I still remember 16 years after the fact. I won't mention who because he will get a big head but I'm watching his acct carefully.

I own ford and Dow.. had both as dividend players.. yeah they are bargains but the stock price on both had been going down for a while .. ford from ev.. dow from other things..( they are getting hammered and Dow divy is ridiculous now)
