The guy doesn’t want his son’s murder politicized and I don’t blame him. They’ve been through a horrific event and there is no solace in people that would only show up for performative attention to push their narrative. Leave them alone, let them grieve, let them process this, let them come to grips with a new reality, let the justice system work.

He claims to be a man of faith and if so, forgiveness is a huge part of being a Christian. The idea that he could forgive him, while still wanting justice to be done is admirable. Anyone that claims they know how he should feel in this situation is clueless. I knew a wonderful Christian lady that forgave her son’s murderer in prison. It’s honestly one of the most the Godly things you could possibly do.

I watched the full interview that the clip criticizing him was taken from and it’s really out of context. Leave the poor man alone.

It may not have been race-related, I'm not sure. I mean, black people do kill each other on the reg.

Supposed conservative influencers are bashing him social media for not embracing their idea that this murder was about race.

What did we do?

There are legit race baiters out there calling his son a white supremacist.

They are garnering up public opinion that his son deserved to die.

He is approaching the murder of his son as gracefully as possible. Anyone who doesn’t like it is the problem.

Only a identity politics leftist would call it race related without evidence of such.

He went public the day after it happened then someone set up a 250k gofund me in his name.

I’m sure he wasn’t aware at the time how much press this thing would get but he should have laid low if he didn’t want the internet trolls after him.

The entire situation is terrible, hopefully it will die down this week so he can grieve.

I’m not going to post them all, but it’s enough that Steven Crowder, Michael Knowles, and other conservatives have felt the need to respond and call them out. I saw one post that said, because he didn’t want to make his son’s murder about race, that he never deserved to be a father. Insanity.

It's not the murder that's about race. It's about the libtard media treating it completely different than they would if it was white on black. Also, the retards who are trying to justify and defend the thug. Them and the libtard media are the racist bigots that are the problem.

If he’s already forgiven his son’s murderer, he’s a better Christian than me.

I used it to describe a lot of Jalen Milroe’s “leadership” on Alabama’s football team this past season.

I also use it to describe the “outrage” that either political side feels whenever they see an opportunity to push their chosen narrative. Historically, democrats have been the guiltier party by far, but we’re apparently trying to catch up.

I agree, but that’s not likely Austin’s dad’s focus right now. His son was killed, he’s still in shock. People saying he’s “dishonoring his son’s death” by not saying it was race related are being horribly unfair to a grieving parent.

I saw the interview avid hunter and religious. He can grieve however he wants. Who cares what idiots who call him out anyway. They don’t know.

It appears the kid who stabbed him says it was self defense. Then other people there say he provoked it.
