Does anyone know when it will be published? More importantly, does anyone know the new format they are moving to, or is it potluck every two years? I would like to see a format developed, where we can plan a road trip to, say, Missouri or Kentucky or Texas, even though it might be 7 years in the future.

You'd think Auburn and Miss State will rotate back on. Other than that who knows?

The SEC does like the NFL now and has a release show in December after the SEC Championship game. Like above you should see State and Auburn back on. Texas probably will be on and Clemson makes their return trip to Death Valley.

I think they have to figure out how they move forward. The 9-game schedule seems to be gaining favor. I don't think we will know for sure until after the spring meetings. I suspect you will see the 9 games schedule which will included 3 permanent opponents and 6 sots that rotate between the other 12. SO like this

P1, P2, P3 are your permanets R1-R12 are your rotational

Year 1

P1 Home
P2 Away
P3 Home
R1 Away
R2 Home
R3 Away
R4 Home
R5 Away
R6 Home

Year 2

P1 Away
P2 Home
P3 Away
R1 Home
R2 Away
R3 Home
R4 Away
R5 Home
R6 Away

Year 3
P1 Home
P2 Away
P3 Home
R7 Away
R8 Home
R9 Away
R10 Home
R11 Away
R12 Home

Year 4

P1 Away
P2 Home
P3 Away
R7 Home
R8 Away
R9 Home
R10 Away
R11 Home
R12 Away

Who the permanents end up being, I have no clue. I lean toward aTm, Ole Miss, and Arkansas but I could see a case for a number of others.

Right, after the spring meetings, as I said in my post. that's memorial day weekend, usually. It will probably get release in the weeks following the meetings. Should know something in the June timeframe, maybe a bit earlier or later depending on the haggling for more favorable positioning by the ADs.

I’d imagine Auburn and Miss St rotate in, USC and Vandy rotate out

Texas owes us a home game. It will suck if we have to go to Austin first.

We better play Texas in the valley. And we also better out their fans and band in the tippy top of the valley

ALthough I would love payback and put their band in the upper deck, I think conference rules require the visiting team to have certain sections of the stadium. BUT I thought they put Bama in the upper deck when they played there though

I lean towards Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss. (LSU's Big 3 SEC Rivals)

I am probably in the minority, but I hate the permanent opponent nonsense. Just rotate through everyone. Only way to make it fair.

as fans we can only hope the SEC comes to their senses and moves to 9 games and also reshuffles our opponents.

I do NOT want to see South Carolina and Vanderbilt for a 3rd year in a row.

Honestly don’t see why the pods/divisions idea wouldn’t work. Still put the top two with highest conference win % in ATL.

OU/UT/TAMU/ARK
LSU/OM/STATE/Bama
MIZ/UK/Vandy/UT
AUB/UGA/SC/FLA

You play everyone in your down division along with an entire other division then you get one permanent opponent from each of the other two divisions.

So LSU could have a schedule like this:
OM/STATE/Bama/AUB/UGA/SC/FLA/Miz/Vandy

Everyone would pretty much have a balanced schedule. No lopsided gifts like Texas got. Best two teams go to ATL

It won't be Auburn and the SEC has been pushing the LSU aTm rivalry BS for too long now, I don't they will back off of that one. But I could see Bama or even Florida rather than Arkansas.

Auburn LSU was once a great series. That doesn’t mean LSU-TAMU isn’t a great series now. They’re the new Auburn. It’s no bs it’s a reality. LSU fans can deny it all we want. We haven’t won there since 2016. They still have yet to win in TS since joining the SEC.

Ratings are great when LSU and A&M meet up. Sorry that’s what drives this and the two will probably play every year unless Texas gets rotated in. They’re numbers for LSU Texas would be high!

The same logic applies to LSU BAMA. That game moves the needle so it’ll always be played. I’d worry about the Arkansas game going away out of all of these. Arkansas has Texas now they don’t need us

Can we pretty much presume that Florida will likely be dropping off as our permanent opponent at that time since our permanent opponents are OM, Bama, A&M for the foreseeable future.

I don't see how they remain on our schedule

Yup. TV ratings are too high for Bama to drop off.

I’m ok with a one year gap in the Florida series if it means in that one year gap we get Texas

I have no qualms with the Auburn-LSU series, it is just not what the SEC wants. It has been a great series.

The BS was forcing it initially. Yes, they have won in College Station since 2018 but those are the only 4 games they have won vs LSU in the SEC. They are not a traditional rival but TV ratings are what will drive this going forward.

Yep, that will be the driver.

That would not surprise me but not for that matchup. I think LSU Ole-miss & LSU-aTm are a given so # 3 is the toss-up
