I read up on it. She was sloppy in that she actually was misusing EP funds to pay operatives of her party claiming they were legislative staff. The Justice Minister in France did not advocate for this ban however, ostensibly this was all the judge's doing.

I'm not familiar with Brazilian politics or life in Brazil. However I have lots of friends in France and I've spent time in France....lived there after graduating from LSU for 16 months and I traveled there for work and pleasure many times. Most of my close friends are Pieds Noir whose families were OAS members. They make Le Pen look like a crypto Communist but even they steer clear of her and Bardella.

In France, your choices are Communists, Socialists....and Socialist - lite. Le Pen is somewhere in between Socialist and Socialist- lite. Real right wing on the immigration issue. Real Socialist on just about everything else. It's French politics...it's different. On economics, you would rather Macron, on immigration, you might rather LePen...and for the guillotine,Hollande and his crypto Communists.
